I see you can buy a 2-3 year protection plan. I wonder if that covers putting it over your knee or throwing it in a pond?

I actually like Wilson sticks, I got a loaner set one time in North Carolina when I hadn't brought my own (funny story in that as well) anyway, hadn't planned on golfing but did and the course only had Wilson's and they felt pretty good. I still preferred my titleist irons and Taylor made drivers, but there are some pretty good cheap clubs out there. I was just busting on Kramer. I really need to start playing the game again some day, but I dont know when I would have the time to do it right.

Agree, am willing to pay more if it helps. And more manufacturing here will increase wages. Also agree about CA countries. We will likely move lots to Vietnam or like countries, with some coming home. Thing is for China, once manufacturing gets moved its not going back anytime soon. To move it to other countries those factories will require long term contracts to make it worthwhile and set up shipping. So once moved it likely just stays there. If I need 10,000,000 jeans made per year the plant has to have a long term contract to ramp up to those levels. They won’t do 6 months and call it a day while you move it back to China. So the longer this goes the more long term loss for China as well. Glad Trump is doing this its long overdue! Agree, am willing to pay more if it helps. This entire country is going to get a wake up call and it is going to hurt. A LOT. With ever increasing pressure on companies to keep earnings on track, all these costs are going to be passed on to consumers. And you will all be shocked at how high a cost this is going to be. So the longer this goes the more long term loss for China as well. That is the X factor in all of this. There is NO LIMIT to the pain the communist government in China is willing to inflict on its own people. Believe you me, Americans will be banging on Trumps door with their $50 dollar wedges that now cost $62.50 long before China relents to any dissent it may face. We vote our pocketbook and if this plays out the way I think it will, it will be a huge loss for Americans. You know even many Democrats say it's about time we dealt with the trade imbalance with China. They may be willing to inflict that pain on their own people but I doubt domestic discontent is a goal of theirs. I disagree about this hurting us that badly, it will hurt some but maybe it's time we look beyond the instant gratification we as Americans seem so focused on and look at the long term. China is NOT our friend. If we kill trade with China completely companies will build products elsewhere and we will all be just fine. Americans also vote with patriotism, if China makes this a USA vs China issue people will vote, they will vote for Trump. You will have to keep your old sticks for a while, at a 4 handicap you don't need any new ones anyway.

Callaway 3+, 4+, 5, 7 fairway woods depending on the course. An Odyssey putter. I don't play as often as I would like either. About 5-6 years ago my work schedule changed and I don't get together with my group every Monday like we used to. So now I get out maybe 5-6 times a year. I'm a bogey golfer now but I'm hoping to get out nearly everyday in retirement in 2-3 years.

I'm a bogey golfer now but I'm hoping to get out nearly everyday in retirement in 2-3 years. I used to be pretty good, not great, low single digit handicap. but then came marriage, kids, and a professional career, then my kids sports and acvtivities took priority and I found myself making more doubles than birds and one day it was september, i was playing a course that I used to be able to get around pretty good and I was chunking it up badly. as soon as my round was over I announced my retirement from golf. i went home and put the sticks in the basement vowing not to touch them until my kids were out of high school... well the youngest finished college last week and I still havent touched those clubs.... although I always still have the itch. kind of like quitting smoking or booze, you will always be a smoker or an drinker, you just choose not to for as long as you can. Those Calloways are nice irons, I think they are more forgiving than my Titleists, but I dont think the feel was quite as good, but definitely a good set of irons.

This is us if Certain Dems get elected POTUS anytime soon. The score dictates how much travel they can do and if low enough you are basically a prisoner of your house.

My best friend from high school lives in Taiwan and worked in China for many years setting up factories for Apple. China is in a bad spot or more specifically the communist party in China is. Their economy is about as bad as ours was just after the crash that started the recession. And unlike previous generations in China, these people have gotten used to a comfortable life. In short people are pissed and they blame the XI and his ruling party. It’s going to get ugly. Generally when faced with serious problems regimes either implode or explode. freebeacon.com/national-security/chinese-video-urges-war-with-u-s/linkI told my buddy it’s time to get his exit plan in order. I expect that China will continue to attempt to provoke the US and their likeliest card to play is the invasion of Taiwan. I don’t expect the US will go to war over Taiwan nor could they prevent China from grabbing it anymore than we could stop the soviets from taking over Crimea after provoking them into it. It’s going to be interesting.
