From trade to sabre rattling, China is the real threat to us imo.
Some trade updates straight from Trump and I love we get news directly from him without MSM spin. If he can fix China trade it will secure our business future for decades to come

i read a report last week where china was reporting a record trade imbalance with the US in their favor... not sure how that could have been possible, but strange things happen in trade wars if China is able to avoid our products but continue to ship theirs to the US despite the higher prices.

Its misleading. Companies pre-purchased goods to avoid tarrifs in the 4th qtr and are pre-purchasing now to avoid tarrifs going from 10% to 25% on 1 Mar. Also China is struggling and is overeporting to keep their masses in the dark they are commies who control press.

I don't rely on our media to report anything accurately anymore.
I used to spend maybe 30 minutes a day to figure out what happened by watching the news... now it's at least 90minutes trying to figure out what really happened. I'm sure it's more over 2hours... but I don't want to admit it.

Yup. The 25% tarrifs go in effect on 1 Mar if no agreement is reached and then things will get tough for China. All the prepurchased goods will be over with and a purchasing gap will start. Plus we are bringing in more money to gov due to the tarrifs but the goal is to have fair trade and it creates a higher temporariy imbalance on paper. China is already having issues reading some of the financial gurus tweets the past few months. Since China gov controls message and industry they can cover it up easier than here with shareholders.

I like our dealer he stressed enforcement many times. A deal if fair will be yuuuge.

I know,Trump constantly fighting with them and the Twitter tirades fan the flames, but at the end of the day I’d much rather have a fighter like Trump standing up for the country than the previous pussy.

All things China... are pretty much disposable. Change their labeling from made in China to made like china.

I mean seriously. That plastic stuff they seal everything in is more durable and harder to break open then anything they put inside it.

To Avoid buying things Made in China is pretty much impossible. I do what I can. There are thing that I refuse to buy Chinese made. Even if it means buying it used. Tools, knives and watches are most important to never be Made in China.
