Iowa teenagers called offensive for wearing red, white and blue! The problem? The opposing team has players from refugee families

Sad that we have allowed liberals to overrun many of our schools. Why wouldn't the "refugees" be proud of their new home as Americans as well. Many immigrants are or at least used to be very proud to finally call themselves Americans. It's what they dreamed about. Upside down world.

Many of the arguments against Trump's travel ban and "extreme vetting" (as the mainstream media puts it) is that refugees and other people just want the opportunity to be Americans and be a part of this great county....and now we think that this country's colors are insensitive to them?

Its obviously hollow BS. The libs cant win a consensus around their socialist agenda among the American population so they are importing foreign votes. They have been doing it for a long time. They aren't even a national party in this country without the votes of illegals and other foreigners who don't respect or understand our country and our way of life.
Many immigrants assimilate and are great additions to our country, many others are just here for what they can get though. It is 100% certain that if the manual laborers wading across the Rio Grande were going to vote republican Obama would have already built the wall and sanctuary cities wouldn't exist.

Fair, balanced, stirring up BULLSHIT. I would agree, if the team's fans began wearing r/w/b, for that game originally/only. But, I read the team (wearing r/w/b) does so, for many big games? (Below, two links) "The students, however, argued that themed attire was worn at previous games and it was not meant to make a statement toward the rival side." link
& "In the fall, Channel 13 witnessed Valley fans draped in red white and blue during a football game against rival Dowling Catholic a private school in the metro, hopeful giving Wheat some comfort after being awkwardly put in the middle of the situation. "It's a little different because I'm the only one of the coaching staff that went to valley," said Wheat." BEFORE THIS BECAME A NATIONALLY REPORTED STORY (of the right-wing), this was the response from the 'offending' school, Valley: "Thursday Valley High School's Student Leadership members provided that answer by hand delivering this letter to Des Moines North. To the Students and Staff of North High School: It has been brought to our attention that the decision by the Valley High School student section to wear U.S.A. apparel at our game last night was offensive to members of your community and fan base. We are deeply sorry if we have offended anyone in any way. We have traditionally dressed in such a fashion for great games such as the one last night. Everyone here at Valley has immense respect not only for your team and players but for your community as a whole. Please know that our intent was in no way to offend or demean—just to support our own team in a way we have done before. Congratulations on a wonderful season and we wish you nothing but the best of luck in the future. Sincerely, Valley High School Student Council Leadership" Kramer... I humbly suggest it's stories like these (that resonate with many 'normal' 'merkins) , that have your party in the wilderness. But, by all means... keep tilting at windmills.

I am no Don Quixote. Fox fair and balanced is as much bullshit as your support of them. It was being handled locally. Why bring it to national attention other than to stir more bullshit in your "world"? Because they are a bullshit machine spinning shit to keep you all pissed off at EVERYTHING. P.S. Happy Holidays...............oops.

I really don't think it's all that isolated Kramer. I'll just leave it at that. I typed up a bunch of examples from people I know personally but deleted it. I just wish people would stop trying to assign motivation to things rather than trying to find out what the motivation is.

Refugees and Immigrants are two different things. Refugees aren't required to have any allegiance to this Country. In fact, many refugees from Iraq, Syria, Libya hold the US responsible for destroying their country, their homes and their livelihoods. They are than dropped in a place of our choosing often times lacking language skills to do even the most menial tasks. In effect, we're putting many of them at the bottom of the food chain here and giving them assistance. It has to foster some level of animosity...if it wasn't for the US intervention...they'd still be in their home countries. That sure sounds like a recipe for disaster for me. At least the illegal immigrants came to this country willingly to seek a better life.

Refugees aren't required to do any oath of loyalty to the US. You don't think MANY in Iraq, Syria and Libya think the US interfered in their countries and caused the instability that caused them to seek refugees status? Almost none of the refugees are the persecuted Christians btw. Remember...I was talking about refugees...not immigrants.

Pulling out the racist, Islamaphobe card? That's intellectually lazy and you know it. You don't think that people from those three Countries that are fleeing their homes, their businesses and their homelands....in large part because of US policy...have a chip on their shoulder?
