I think it's a given that Trump will nominate a replacement and that the Senate will approve him/her. That said, I believe that politics may be a key variable in the timing. I'm not sure what is best for Republican wins in the election. The riots are bad for Democrats, and although Pelosi and her puppet Sleepy Joe have finally said "riots are bad," I can't wait to see what they say about the inevitable riots regarding the President and Senate fulfilling their constitutional duties. Will they criticize the lunatics when they start fires outside of the Supreme Court? Maybe outside of Congress? What will the idiot DC mayor have to say when political riots start getting the media coverage instead of her precious BLM "peaceful protests?" CNN may need to open up a whole new network. This is like a Hollywood Soap opera, except with a much more interesting plot. Thank God I live in a conservative state. On the flip side: 1. Dems have no enthusiasm to vote for Biden now 2. If we wait this will be a rally point to get Dems out to vote for Scotus 3. Its possible Senate can’t get Senate open after election to vote for various reasons. No matter what we do the left will reeee. But if we do it before then they can’t use open seat as a rally point Yep, an appointment before the election will completely demoralize them. Dem turnout will be loooooowwwwww....

Question: if he presses to name one and riots 10x worse than what we’ve seen happens what does that do to the election? Good Lord this is nuts Just a guess, but if riots increase 10X as you suggest, there will be a major rise in self-defense reactions. There will be a lot of masked millennials dropping all over the country with little 5.56mm holes in them. Or 7.62mm if the defender prefers the letters AK over AR.

And it will increase Trumps coming win even more. Would help congressional seats to take over House

“The government controlling people’s bodies for them” What the hell does she think her government controlled healthcare for everyone would entail?

I'm failing to understand how a sitting President nominating a Supreme Court candidate is an impeachable defense... linkHouse Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) didn't bat an eye when ABC "This Week" host and former Clinton aide George Stephanopoulos floats the idea of impeaching President Trump over filling the vacancy on the Supreme Court following the Friday announcement of the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Stephanopoulos: "Some have mentioned the possibility if they try to push through a nominee in a lame-duck session that the House could move to impeach President Trump or Attorney General Barr as a way of stalling or preventing the Senate from acting on this nomination."
Pelosi: "Well, we have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I'm not about to discuss right now."

Just means she's trying to figure out how to do an end run but hasn't yet.
