Big mistake not running clock on 3rd down. Will maybe cost game. GA had no timeouts.

Georgia up by1 with 2 seconds left That Cincy pass attempt on 3rd saved GA 35 seconds and cost game. Massive coaching error

That GA kicker nailed a pressure packed 53 yarder his longest ever. That was cool as ice under circumstances.

I don't mind that 3rd down call by Cincy - there was no way their OL was giving them 2 yards on the ground and the only way they could move the ball was easy passes rolling Ridder out. The LT substitute was awful in the 2nd half filling in for the starting LT who was ejected at the end of 1st half.
Ridder and the Cincy offense were stagnant the entire 2nd half after they went up 21-10 on the long TD run...
Loss opportunity by Cincinnati...Ridder looked capable in the 1st half, but couldn't overcome the poor OL/Georgia pressure in the 2nd...Cincy defense couldn't hold them the entire game..
JT Daniel needs another year at Georgia - he definitely does not need to come out...
Alot will be made of Georgia's DE Azzez O, but we have to keep in mind he beat an awful backup Cincinnati LT for his plays...he made them, but have to remember who he beat - it was a shame Cincy didn't roll more blocking help to that side...
If JT Daniels can get better, Georgia does have a bright 2021 outlook....

Run and get stuffed the click ticks down to less than 60 secs. Still punt but now GA has around 50 secs vs 1:25.

Yet some idiots want an 8 team playoff so we can watch teams like that get destroyed even worse. Some might say, "big deal, more football is good". But to that, I present this idea: what if 'Bama had to play the #8 team in a quarterfinal first and it was Cincy or someone similar and even though they are getting crushed, they blitz and take out Mac Jones' knee? 'Bama still wins, but now the clearly best team in the country has to play 2 more playoff games without their most important player. If 'Bama lost, there would be all kinds of questions about if they would have dominated like LSU did last year, etc, would they have won it all, etc. I am old school and still prefer a 2 team playoff like we used to have. You have 12 games to prove you are top 2, if you can't, there's a 99.99% chance you're not top 2. EDIT: I don't have commie ESPN so I wasn't aware the game was close. Still, Alabama would have curb-stompt them easily. It would have been an insult to make Alabama take the field against a team like that.

Its like divisions in NFL each is unique and has rivalries and a loss can happen. 5 conf champs plus 3 wildcards. In old days there was no title game it was all decided by press voters (AP or UPI). There is precedence to adjust playoff format. If not 8 then go 6 with 5 conf champs and 1 wildcard. Top 2 get bye week.

Run and get stuffed the click ticks down to less than 60 secs. Still punt but now GA has around 50 secs vs 1:25. Perhaps, but it took an incredible play by the Georgia DB because they did have it...Zimmer for sure would have ran it and I don't mind the aggression there... What lost Cincy the game was potentially the starting LT who was ejected at end of 1st half...his replacement was absolutely awful and there were many times in the 2nd half Cincy had it 3rd and short only for the backup LT to start early and move 'em back to 3rd and long and they couldn't overcome it. The pressure Georgia generated also caused Ridder to hear footsteps, too....he made incredible plays outside the pocket in the 1st half but couldn't muster it in "money time"... Can't say I had a draft crush on anybody after that game...one CB from Georgia who stood out was #36 Brini - really tight coverage and at least 2 times he had TFL on wide WR screens (fought his way through WR to make tackle). Cincy DE Myjai Sanders didn't win too many times - like Odenigbo, he tried to bullrush a stronger OT in front of him vs trying swim/bend moves and he didn't tackle too well on outside running plays...he's not a Day 1 or Round 2 prospect - rotational guy to start in NFL and you pick those up in 3rd/4th/5th Rd.... Georgia DE/EDGE/OLB #13 Azeez O made some great plays on the backup LT, but was quiet 1st half...I'm not taking him in Rd 1...

Thing I'm watching closely in 'Bama/ND game is ND's OL vs 'Bama's DL....can they keep Ian Book clean?
Also Josh Jobe, the "other" CB at 'Bama...

ND is going to have to take a page from Bilicheck's defense and take away the opposing team's best player - DeVonte Smith. They'll have to double him because he's that good...
'Bama has many other weapons, but at least don't let Smith beat you like he just did...open field tackling is also going to be really huge...
...and ND can't come up empty on offensive possessions...'Bama's defense isn't too great - Florida and Kyle Trask were able to move the ball at ease against them - Ian Book and the OC need to realize that ground-n-pound isn't going to work....they need to win a shootout type of game to try and pull off the upset...
