Andy Benoit @andy_Benoit
#Vikings no need at all to rush Bridgewater back. Because the harsh truth: Bradford is the much better player.

Have had coaches tell me that, mechanically, Sam Bradford one of the very best in the business.

No team was hurt more by its Achilles heel than #Vikings an OT last season. Hence additions of Reiff, Remmers.

Even with Reiff and Remmers aboard, would expect #Vikings to continue emphasizing more 3-step timed pass concepts.

There still seems to be different reports and question-marks as to Teddy's progress out there. PA and the other article that named "locker room sources" stated that Teddy's recovery is coming along excellent and not to rule out 2017, and that one article even used phrase "football activities", and meanwhile the official stance from Winter Park has seemingly always ruled Teddy out for 2017, while not clearly stating that, it's been implied.
The next biggest announcement or "progress report" will probably come in early May when the team has to decide on Teddy's 5th yr option.

The secrecy still baffles me. I just don't see who gains what other than Teddy getting pressure/scrutiny on a timeline but that will come no matter what.
I honestly hope both guys are in the mix and the best man wins-ideally both on the roster in 2017 and 2018 if at all possible. Regardless of several posters telling me I'm nuts I see no clear cut difference in the two other than age and experience. Performance wise they have been pretty similar when comparing careers or their first couple seasons. Any differences seem to be very subjective.

I think it is pretty obvious they just want TB to focus on rehab and not football.
The major difference is arm talent. The playbook is 5 times bigger with Bradford's arm and experience than with TB. Bradford has better poise and can read defenses and get the ball out to avoid the sack. TB looks paralyzed in the pocket and took 44 sacks with a significantly better Oline and the NFL rushing leader taking the pressure off.
Honestly you seem to be a TB fan. I'm not a Bradford fan, I'm a Vikings fan and Bradford is the better QB, and it isn't even close IMO.

Lots of big statements that don't jive with reality. I can understand how some feel Sam is a better QB but I don't think it is nearly as clear as you do. AP has been a hindrance to his QB's since he got here other than Favre. It's entirely possible, if not likely, that AP's negative runs on first and second down would have negatively affected Sam, and his pass pro likely would have shortened Sam's season.
Sam played an offense that was much different in the 2nd half of the season than what they ran with AP and Norv. The OL was bad but let's not forget Kalil was one of the worst LT in the league and Clemmings wasn't much better at RT, in fact I'd say Sirles is a better RT than Clemmings was his first year.

not to prove Teddy is better but to bring the debate back to reality-it is close, and worthy of debate and competition if both are healthy.
