I can't keep refreshing the Twitter feed enough today. Land those two and a Cornerback...and then it's a few bit players and get ready for draft. Oh yeah...we should probably have a punter as well. Maybe a few UDFA's that we have on speed dial for right after the draft.

He's a legitimate #1 back...but I have little doubt that we'll also draft a RB...it's a deep class. McKinnon could find himself odd man out next year. |

He's a legitimate #1 back...but I have little doubt that we'll also draft a RB...it's a deep class. McKinnon could find himself odd man out next year. I was hoping for better stats behind that line when I checked them. I guess he could be but they need to draft one to compete. Jet(or lack thereof) is a Michael Bennett want to be.... |

Part of it is the way they used him...they fully platooned their backs and he did a lot of the short yardage stuff which brought his average down. He's a LOT better than Asiata in all facets of the game. |

I think McKinnon is getting a bit of a bad rap. His average climbed as the OL improved marginally last year. He averaged more YPC than AP and Asiata. The problem is he isn't going to break tackles at the OL very often if the blocking isn't good. If they can create some creases for him he can be decent.
That said I want a back that can do what McKinnon can't even if it's not the bell cow AP was. Murray is a good fit if the price is right.
