Don't surprise me. I don't hate him but this says a lot. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is what matters to him.

I don't blame him one bit.
I don't know too many players who don't have endorsements that amount to more than their salary like I posted before about Brady taking a team discount.
Kwesi should have signed him last year it would have been cheaper.
And if Daniel Jones can.....

I was never on the Kirk train but this is just another boneheaded f up from the affirmative action hire GM. Kirks situation should have been addressed last year. Now here we sit at 11 with a slew of QB needy teams in front of us. Odds are the top 4 QB's will be gone long before we get on the clock. but hey, we got Sam freaking Darnald . Having no viable plan at QB along with letting Hunter walk for nothing is irresponsible at the least. Obviously the golden boy had no plans to resign Hunter last year, so why didn't he trade him for some draft capital? . Now we're here without a extra pick or two and no compensatory pick because we signed the one year wonder from Houston! They would have been better served if they blew the whole thing up in the new regimes first year. I can't wait till the dip shit trades down from 11 with the Packers or the Lions.

No one would have walked away from that kinda money, not anyone her or anywhere’s else period. It does show how inept Vikings upper management is.

No one would have walked away from that kinda money, not anyone her or anywhere’s else period. It does show how inept Vikings upper management is. What it does as well is put Kwesi front and center. From the info I got KOC wanted Kirk but for the betterment of the team he went along with letting Kirk walk. But Kwesi could have dealt with it last year and probably got a cheaper deal for 2 or 3 years to get to the next QB. Now the team lives with a 50/50 chance on a rookie QB no matter where they pick. Had to be done eventually but I would have preferred the rookie sit a year or two which always seems to work out better. Darnold has the ability to be a very good QB. Physically he is more talented than Kirk including a stronger arm. The question will be is if he can pick it up mentally which is the case with 90% of QBs. But the Vikings are the best situation he has been in so it could work out. I am not a Maye fan and would rather have McCarthy since it seems like those are the two that they could have the best chance of drafting.
