Kramer, Got a question for you. I know you are health care professional at a VA hospital. Have you had any Covid-19 patients to tend to and how or what are you treating them with? Just curious.

I’ll say it again, masks don’t work. Your body needs oxygen not what you breath into your mask but each to there own.

I have treated 12 Covid + patients. They all did not require hospitalization so the only treatment was Tylenol for fever. Over 60 contacts now and I have note contracted Covid. Masks work. gophersturf10,

Are these Covid +'s found incidentally, IE due to same day surgery? How many times have you been tested? -trying to understand your experience Thanks

If you were forced to wear a mask during the 2020 Covid bullshit and and are now experiencing respiratory Issue, you maybe entitled to compensation. Coming soon to a law firm near you.

Are these Covid +'s found incidentally, IE due to same day surgery? How many times have you been tested? -trying to understand your experience Thanks N95 for patients lab confirmed with Covid and a face shield. Regular mask and face shield for those symptomatic till proven positive. Just a face mask for milling about when not providing direct patient care. Does the VA have adequate mask supplies? They do now. Did not at first. How low do you wear one for before using a new one? N95 is used for the day, and only for that patient. If you have 2 covid patients, you use a separate mask for each. Other masks are used for 1 day or if soiled(do not cough or sneeze in them, gross). Are these Covid +'s found incidentally, IE due to same day surgery? No random testing for patients in my clinic. Symptom based. Glad to say management defers to us and does not give us a lot of crap if we feel a test is needed. How many times have you been tested? Every week routinely since April Fools day. Also everytime I have had an exposure to a patient that ends up positive if the contact was in the last 10 days. So probably 20-30 times. Friggin sinuses are getting sore.
Talk to your Doctor about any studies your local hospital is participating in. If they are in the Interferon beta 1a study, nitric oxide study, convalescent plasma study, or monoclonal antibodies studies sign up for them if you are hospitalized. Also if you become gravely ill, ask to be put on systemic anticoagulation.
Other than that, wear a mask. I would recommend a vit D tab every other day and get outside in the sun. Take vitamin d every day in the winter and if you never go outside. I would also advise taking an aspirin a day or 2 gms of fish oil a day.

The mask thing is more to protect others than yourself, correct? As the virus is much to small to stop it with all the potential leak points. I sometimes have to wear a 3M half face respirator with cartridges for the area I'm in and I don't know if that would be sufficient. Add some beard stubble and the seal is not perfect.

For does who CC don’t wear a mask it’s a federal crime. I’m 99.99% of this.
