Started with a win.
But what is sad is a player could end this season batting 400. And it’s meaningless with an Asterisk.
Who ever wins a division. Or the World Series is meaningless with an Asterisk

3 1/2 month without baseball and I can say I didn’t missed it.. I didn’t even know they had played.

They didn’t talk about it. But no one there but cardboard cut outs of fans in the seats, first few rows, cubs showed video of fans in the stands, looking like they were there. When on the batter you could see empty.

I was bouncing between the Cubs and Twins. Having a hard time getting into a meaningless season.

Let’s also not forget that MLB has stated that they are okay with cheating as long as you don’t get caught until after the season is over and you’ve won the World Series.
Perma-ban on MLB in my house.

Twins up 10-0 in 4th. Was going to switch to cubs game , they are not much better 5-0 in 4th... guess will keep bouncing or shut off. Maybe go watch bowling

A short 60 game season is more pressure to every game possible and the close games will be fought for with tooth and nail.

A short 60 game season is more pressure to every game possible and the close games will be fought for with tooth and nail. You could take the Miami Marlins. Last year they were like 57and 105 like.. pronably unlikely they they would contend for the playoffs this year. Improve possible, contend unlikely. then in a short 60 game season they could come out of the gate hot, play 500 or less second 30 games games and contend for playoffs, I guess for a 60 game series they did what they had to.but imo. Highly unlikely they would be there during a full season.you could get a team like the Yankees coming out slow and not squeaking in. this season holds little water...yesterday they were talking between the white Sod and twins, two more games, one now where in a series between the white Sox and twins. Where the winning team scores 10 or more runs... but blvdry few season records will be beat, no player is going to contend for the HR record even if Cruz hit 35 t the 60 game mark, Most will be personal. Although teams like the Yankees. dodgers, Minnesota and a few others are favored.... a slug team or two could get in...I guess they did what they had to. But still imo. Meaningless, yet here I am watching so far. Amazing

Nelson Cruz named AL player of the week.
Cruz earned American League honors after going 7-for-13 (.538) with three homers,
two doubles, 10 RBIs and a 1.956 OPS in Minnesota’s first three games.
He leads the Majors in hits, homers, RBIs, OPS and total bases.
I'd like to see the Twins extend him at least 1 more year if not 2.

And if he maintained this pace maybe have a shot at a season record. 60 games not,. But likely he wouldn’t. great start, good job Nelson Cruz.
