Anyone else notice, there hasn't been much NFL talk this week about politics / social justice? Slogans, anthems, kneeling etc? Personally I do believe this boycotting along with people just plain talking about how they are sick of it, has had an effect. Though they are stuck for awhile, with some of their woke / marketing / PR crap. Just got an email from the MN Purple Kneelers with their kind help for me to register to vote. No doubt they'll fill out my ballot as well. If that's the "effect" you're talking about, I can do without it.

OK, I've now had a bourbon. Sho' nuff, I'm more po'd than before. Brown liquor! I'm doing everything I can muster...cuz if I quit the NFL, I gotta quit about 5 FFLeagues….. Nibes! Get yer Canuck ass in here and make us laugh. We're dyin' out here. You must bite the bullet this year for the good of sport and country. Once you accept this they have you. Next thing you know you’ll have to kneel at work for a BLM anthem at start of shift. Laugh, go ahead. The FUCK I will, I'll be jobless before that disgraceful shit begins to play because my boss will get a giant GO FUCK YOURSELF from me, without a smile.

There are all kinds of trash. He's NBA trash. I just read a Twitter article on B/R where LeBron called out a highly ranked UFC saying "everyone is tough in the ring, but not out of it" or something like that, it was a few days ago and a lot of sticky stanky. Buuuut, how I'd love to see LeBron challenge the guy to a fight like it sounded he was asking for. He'll I'd even buy that on PPV.

Most here should listen to Out kick. He had the president on last week and it was a great interview. He said today that they've grown over a million subscribers in just over a month. Yeah they are getting the conservative side of the sports populace listening to them.

Yeah they are getting the conservative side of the sports populace listening to them. Yup. They admitted this too. They saw a coverage gap in sports where all sites were fighting for the same “left” piece of pie and no one was repping the right. Smart business decision. They love sports and will cover it thats what they do (so no boycott for them). But they cover it with a right leaning slant. Unwoke I guess is another way to put it.

No that wasn't the effect I was talking about, I posted this for those boycotting, I believed they were accomplishing things. As for the voting thing, other sports teams in MN were already doing this, I believe they were following the pack. For what it's worth I also believe the leadership of this team are Democrats. This whole mail in voting thing is crazy to me. If I can work, grocery shop, go to a restaurant and eat or get take out, I have no idea why I can't show up and vote. But the emails that are asking me to donate to their charity, along with their other promotional tweets, TV and radios spots promoting their charities and foundations is what is currently bothering me. I'm done with these foundations set up by and for millionaires. They have more, their coworkers, neighbors do... I think I'll let them support each other.

Hang in there.....give this a 'news cycle'. I totally get your sentiment...TRUST ME.... let's give it a day to stew. In NK, China and Iran you have to watch what their “dear leaders” decide. In USA I have a choice and as long as I have choice i will not give 1 minute to these commie bastards - only to make them stronger and force more shit down my throat? Fuck that, I’ve had some beers yet can clearly see thru this bullshit. The only way to fix it is through the wallet. No one watches and lets see how it goes: - Now, lets say an advertiser gets $1m per minute of NFL ads. Say this is based on TV selling at 5m viewers. - All the sudden they avg 2.5m viewers my ad was seen by 50%. I want a huge reduction in charges to say $500k per minute. Now every game has 60 minutes per game give or take. So If cut in half TV gets $30m vice $60m. Take times 16 games per week they lose $480m per week. Plus other associated football show TV losses and it adds up. My only way to fix is boycott. Feel sorry for sports bars but I live in USA not fucking China or NK. Fuck these commie bastards I posted the above on Jul 2 ^^^ Now a new report comes out (and its lower than said they add extra numbers for online to pad this year compared to prior years). ——- Advertisers Shaken: ‘We Are Now in a Situation Where the NFL is Declining’ Warner Todd Huston15 Dec 2020 The NFL’s ratings are still flailing, and with the league’s numbers off seven percent over last year, advertisers are finally getting upset that fewer and fewer TV viewers are seeing their ads. The ratings this year are so bad that the NFL is now scrambling to offer “make-goods” to advertisers who spent vast sums of cash to appear on TV during games but are now finding that the numbers are not what they were promised when they bought their ad time. Indeed, according to one advertising executive, the league is now in decline, the Wall Street Journal reported. “Even as surefire as the NFL has been — and the last couple years, NFL ratings stood up much better than network prime-time ratings — we are now in a situation where the NFL is declining,” Gibbs Haljun, investment lead at WPP PLC ad-buying firm Mindshare, told the Journal. The Journal pointed to the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day broadcast as a case in point. Advertisers were charged large fees for their commercials to air during the turkey day games. However, as a whole, the league’s Thanksgiving ratings were down seven percent season-to-date. This year’s consistently lower ratings have brought the NFL to begin offering special deals to advertisers to make up for the falling viewership. Consequently, the league has offered a list of “make-goods” to their unhappy advertisers, including cash back, free sponsorships on digital platforms, and extra plays of ads. “We’ve worked with every one of our partners individually to find what works best for them,” an NBC Sports spokesman told the Journal via email. “We will have delivery solutions for all of our NFL advertisers this season.” www.breitbart.com/sports/2020/12/15/advertisers-shaken-we-are-now-in-a-situation-where-the-nfl-is-declining/
