New board, new start. No idea of any drama on any old board so for me it's full speed ahead with a new board. Seeing some old names but like I said no idea of what's gone on the past several years at VF. I do still post at PT just not as often.
So, my take on the Vikings is we had a rough season yet we finally will get attention to the Oline issues.
I really really like Sam, also having watched him play for my college team. He went to school a mile from my house. My son was at OU when Sam was and son always said he was a classy guy, not your typical star qb type personality. He is very smart and will never lack for money due to his Dad teaching him the value of and how to invest it. If you give him time he will destroy you with his accuracy. He is that accurate. He is not a scrambler so we need to fix the Oline. He kinda reminds me of Peyton but with a better arm and a lot less "Omaha's". Fix the OLINE and you fix out problems.
I think if we can fix the oline, restructure AD for reasonably money then we can go places next year. You are reading it here first, if we have decent Oline play plus a decent threat of a running game - we will be in the Super Bowl a year from now (at home). We are not as bad as it seemed at the end yet we were never going to SB with that Oline. We are not far away though.
I may not post here a lot at first so don't assume anything. Good to see you all!
Oh, and I am picking Atlanta to win it all. I realized one day recently that I hate all the NFC teams for one reason or another and so I decided to let most bygones be bygones. Except I deplore (yup, I'm a deplorable too) GB and Dallas. As long as those teams don't win I can live with the rest winning.
Here's to the last day of Football until Aug!
Sorry for the fonts, was playing with them
