Interesting tidbit in that article:
But there was one regard in which party affiliation did come into play. The researchers noted that before the election, Republicans and Democrats, liberals and conservatives, all reported about equal levels of stress and negativity — but in the post-election survey, liberals were worse off.
After Donald Trump took office, 38 percent of self-described liberals reported feeling tense or stressed as a result of political discussions at work, compared to 21 percent of conservatives. And liberals were twice as likely to perceive an increase in workplace hostility — 26 percent of liberals, versus 13 percent of conservatives.
Liberals just need to R-E-L-A-X.

Liberals just need to R-E-L-A-X. I always push for an honest debate. The party and their followers that fall out of power always feels less at ease than the party in power. As a third party guy, my party is always out of power...lol...so I'm used to it.

That was really awesome. I wasn't emotionally offended by ANY of those facts. I think I'm more evolved than most.

the problem is, we AREN'T all going in the same direction, and different beliefs are not being taught at school, what makes the people that are teaching the ONE WAY is the CORRECT WAY? Why is Slavery still a hot topic? it's been gone for over 150 years in the country, you can't change history, and just because some people owned slaves, it doesnt make any other accomplishments by them less of an accomplishment... the first slave was owned by a BLACK man, why is the only people vilified for owning slaves are the white people? how come the black people that SOLD them to the white people not to blame?

Not to mention there is slavery around the world TODAY. If people are truly concerned about slavery wouldn't they be doing something about THAT instead of worrying about something long gone? I guess talk is cheap but action requires... well... action...
