I know it was basically for nothing, but I am not a huge fan of the trade. He blew his achilles 2 years ago. They basically are admitting that letting Cook go was a mistake and that Mattison isn't the guy. Shouldn't they had the wherewithal to know all that during camp or last year? Same with Risner, he should have been starting week 1 clearly because our interior offensive line is horseshit. But now if we lose and go 0-3 on Sunday the season is basically over. Good luck blocking Bosa and Mack.

Ya our GM is a wall street guy not a nfl guru.. I’m curious to see how long it will take the Wilfs to realize that and cut cord. I’m neutral on the Akers trade but Dalton Risner should’ve been here week one. Kevin O Connell should have made sure of that. And it was not a mistake letting Cook go the guy is toast.

Letting Cook go was smart imo. Too much cash for the return. I am not a fan of our coach or GM tbh. I thought they picked the wrong guys but won't keep bitching about it, just have to wait another 3 years until he's fired. They picked another Childress imo. KoC was Mcvays figurehead in LA and Chilly was Reid's in Philly. Maybe Favre can come out of retirement and give us a boost? LOL..We always seem to get the guy that worked for the good guy. I am not a fan of the wilfs either. Yes they built us a great stadium. Props for that. But....we have not been this inconsistently bad since they moved in. Meaning playoff appearances. The only time worse was when we were an expansion team. Everytime I look at them I think Giants fan. They don't love this team. Its an investment. I would rather have a guy that loves the team and suck.
