So my wife has Covid. She's 54 and in good health. Started symptoms Tuesday night (now Thursday AM). Wednesday morning it was congestion, slight headache. We started calling doctors and friends to get advice on therapeutic medication. Really wanted to get the monoclonal infusion. We've been rejected by every doctor we've called. the reason: she's too fit, not fat enough.
So, because she's not fat, they won't give her something that can help. How does that make sense?
Add that to the list of braindead decisions by the medical bureaucracy?

No what this shows you is the medical profession knows what the best defense against covid is, but they are not allowed to say it. If we had less overweight people, covid would be even less of a threat than it already is. If the gov was serious about driving down cases, they would be promoting fitness, but they can't because it's bigoted to tell someone to lose weight now.
