There's a surplus of rage in this country. I seen no shortage of it. I've just decided to centralize my world view to what directly effects my life. Do powerful people do awful things to the less powerful? Yes they do. Welcome to the human race. To close stop worrying about who reporting what. I stopped and my life goes on. the problem is that so many shape their views on what they are told by the media and its those view points that are guiding their voting decisions. the old computer saying applies to this as well GIGO... garbage in / garbage out, that goes for voters as well, ( of both parties) if they are being fed garbage from traditionally trustworthy news sources, they will then be much more prone to make garbage decisions in the voter booth... .and that does affect me... and you.

No they are reporting on the bombshell of quid pro quo against the guy that wants to make America great again. Nice deflection. I didn't know news could only report on one thing, not many things.

Let me play the role of viking pit bull here...I reckon he'd jump in and say something like this: "LOL, a foxnews viewer talking about being fed garbage, too cute" or something along those lines. See, that's how these simple-minded libs like him and kramerhammer work. Find a little string to latch onto and in with the snarky comments.

I don't think it does effect me. That's my point. If others around me make poor choices in the voting booth my life goes on. My taxes may go up or even down slightly but not enough to change my life. I still need to make a living and live on. I've lived on through a great many poor choices. My district has voted in the same two men father then son to be my representative in Washington since 1980 I believe. My district has grown not because of them but because all the state had grown. 3rd most populous now. Tell me how any of these men should warrant my rage about how they are being reported or how anybody new is going to change my life. Do it fast. I'll be retiring before the 2024 election then I really won't care what's happening in the world outside my yard.

I don't see how calling him out and calling anybody simple minded because they have a different view any less snarky then his.

It's definitely better to not be consumed and have your life ruined over things you cannot control.
I will say that while life does go on, it's dangerous to think the country can keep surviving at this rate. We were never going to die quick, it would be by a 1000 cuts. The question is, which cut will be the final one?

No they are reporting on the bombshell of quid pro quo against the guy that wants to make America great again. Quid pro quo? Really.... Can you read? READ THE DAMN TRANSCRIPT! There is no quid pro quo. NOT EVEN CLOSE! But Biden can buy off a country to fire an attorney to protect his son. IT'S ON FUCKING VIDEO! You are fine with that. But Trump asks a question about it and you lose your mind. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! All this Quid pro quo nonsense is twisted "impressions" knitted together to suck in mind numbed robots to pull the lever for Team D. You just keep gobbling it up the same way you gobbled up all those other fake crises over the past three years. So glad you love your party more than your country. Or the truth. The same truth honest people knew three years ago about collusion.

The question is, which cut will be the final one? I guess alot of it has to do with age. 20 years ago rage was easier to defend. Now I view it like if they are going to tear this thing down to total anarchy I'm not going to be able to join in. If they kill the old and weak 1st I don't know how many rounds I make... I agree more of life then I'd like to admit is outside my/our control. Sadly even the real truth.

My wife is a little younger than me so she has many years left before retirement. She also works in a hostile work environment. Her boss is incredibly unprofessional and brings politics into the work place DAILY. Most of her beliefs are based on these emotional narrative stories that most of us can see through. But she thinks it's real because CNN would never lie to her. She is so superior in her views she feels the need to force her opinions on others. Frequently, my wife comes home needing to vent. Sometimes those ventings fire me up. Sometimes that carries over to this place and my attitude affects you. You are affected by association. Cheers

Sounds like she has a terrible boss. That would be difficult to shut out. I would still try. I hear folks talking all the time things I feel are wrong or offend my believes. I don't join those discussions.
