Start at @ 2 min until 11:00 min mark. Tells who we should look for to get it first. Much like pre-draft hype, I'm tired of the speculation. It's time to see something concrete. Hopefully soon...

What is the national debt now? Where is it from when Trump took over? Fuck off with the national debt bullspit. You all threw that whore to the curb a LONG time ago. Ever wonder why your reps don't talk about it anymore? Not sure who "my reps" are since I'm neither Republican or Democrat. I get it...why would we want to talk about one of Obama's primary campaign promises.... He's not going to get the Obama Memorial built in Washington if we keep talking about this. As pointed out above, the deficit continues to rise...and Obama was right...it is a failure of moral leadership to leave that debt (and corresponding interest payments) to our children. Actually, NoDak was partially giving Obama a break on the increase in Federal Debt during his Presidency. TARP funding was approved under Bush (and the Democratic Congress) and spent under Obama. The "Debt" therefore counted under Bush even though it wasn't spent under his Presidency. The rate of rise of US Debt vs GDP has started to level, however, as GDP rises. That's actually the better way to look at debt...you'll take some debt...if you're growing. Here's an article: www.debtconsolidation.com/us-debt-presidents/ Here's a chart of US Debt vs GDP up to 2015 (by the way...the anticipated decline in 2016 didn't actually happen). Let's see if you can spot any trends: and he didn't need to work with the other side...even on important issues like healthcare. Obama screwed the pooch trying to get GOParty over country support for the ACA. He sold us out to big insurance and big pharma and they still voted 96 times to repeal it. Repeal and replace was the mantra......................and now its crickets. The GOP will fuck you, just give them enough time to take their little blue pill. I always love this nonsense. At least my liberal friends in town smirk when they say it. ACA was the Democrats signature achievement. Republicans were locked out of any meetings regarding the legislation and generally mocked for "not having any real ideas".. Yet somehow this signature legislation failed because of the changes for the Republicans. I'm guessing Republicans would have than got the credit if it succeeded....not. The Democrats needed to implement the legislation the way it was...to garner enough votes in their own caucus. Single payer wasn't going to get enough votes from the Democratic side. Bottom line is that no piece of major social legislation has ever been accomplished on a partisan basis...and this embarassment that amounted to the biggest tax increase in American history should have ever seen the light of day particularly with no actual provisions for cost reduction. My company provided insurance has more than doubled in cost with significantly less coverage and annual out of pocket amounts. Many in the workplace now have insurance they can't use except in emergencies.

Badger, you're forgetting all the poor people who now have these extremely high deductible plans that they'll never use...but at least the dems can now count them as "insured" lol. Someone besides the poor is still footing their medical costs, so ACA achieved nothing, but dems refuse to acknowledge that.

Another good watch for first 5 minutes, more if you like. About AG Barr, you can't be in contempt of congress if the law limits what you can supply to congress. Nadler and the Dems are full of it. This is just another diversion tactic.
At the 21:00 mark. Brennan could be in deep shit. The 1947 National Security Act makes it illegal for the CIA to spy on American citizens or to cause people to spy on people in the US. He did and he should be toast. Obama knew ALL about it. Burn all these mutha fuckers down.

About Barr and the House committee "contempt citation".... liberal professor Jonathon Turley (one of the few liberals I admire...Dershowitz has been fair, also) warned his fellow Dems pursuing Barr for contempt "would put them in a world of hurt."

There were cost reduction measures, all usurped by GOParty over country.

Motha fatha please. If you all are as good at investigations like Whitewater, Benghazi etc. etc I will definitely hold my breath. I have a great idea, create about a dozen congressional investigations like with Benghazi and come back with zero indictments or like the Whitewater SC and come back with a blow job. I can hardly wait.

Your predictions on this matter (Mueller report/Trump collusion) have been laughably wrong for two years now. Stick around, KH. Things are going to get fun very soon. I promise.

You sure you want to brag about this? I know one quarter was run up the flag pole as some sort of example, but overall his tax cuts are under-delivering. Stock market is up though, because of stock buy backs. You know, a shell game. Yes corporate profits per share are rising, but are actual profits rising? Nope. This house of cards is going to come crashing down and we will have to bail them all out once again. I'm a policy guy...not a politics guy Kramer. I don't care whether it's team blue or team red...or team purple for that matter. I was just explaining that National Debt and GDP are often tied together for policy discussions...much like growing a business...you'll take a little debt...to grow the business. As exhibited by the chart I posted, the two were way out of whack during the Obama years...as debt went unchecked and GDP suffered...because..you know...those manufacturing jobs aren't coming back...they're gone...lol. Here's the ranking of Real GDP Growth by President post WW2 Johnson (1964-68), 5.3% Kennedy (1961-63), 4.3% Clinton (1993-2000), 3.9% Reagan (1981-88), 3.5% Carter (1977-80), 3.3% Eisenhower (1953-60), 3.0% (Post-WWII average: 2.9%) Nixon (1969-74), 2.8% Ford (1975-76), 2.6% G. H. W. Bush (1989-92), 2.3% G. W. Bush (2001-08), 2.1% Truman (1946-52), 1.7% Obama (2009-15), 1.5%
By contrast, the GDP thus far under Trump has averaged around 3%. There is no doubt the economy is in better shape than it was (that's not a political point...just reading the data) and is driving better GDP numbers. Yet somehow this signature legislation failed because of the changes for the Republicans. I'm guessing Republicans would have than got the credit if it succeeded....not. Failed? How many millions have insurance now that did not before? GOParty over country hate to admit it, but this was successful and people want it AND MORE. They hate it because they have no plan than to lie to get elected. Here's a decent set of estimates on the number of newly insured: www.americanactionforum.org/insight/20-million/ Their conclusions are that between 2.9M and 8.7M newly insured as a result of the ACA...with 2.3M being in the 26 and under category that could stay on their parents policy. I typically leave that out of the discussion because that proposal had overwhelming BIPARTISAN support. Gen Z is slower to leave the nest and don't use the system much so it made sense. That means that between 0.6M and 6.4M were NEWLY insured as a result of the ACA (exclusive of those 26 and under on their parents policy). The conclusion also notes that Employer Insurance added approximately 3.7M people (unsubsidized) between 2013 and 2015 (+9.6M gained, -5.9 lost) as some employers used the opportunity to get out of the healthcare game. As the economy has strengthened, so have the number of employer offered insured. The reality is that those gains are more a contributor to gains in coverage than the ACA...which at this point is really limited to an expansion of Medicaid and the 26 and under. We have also seen a few unintended but predictable consequences of the ACA expansion of Medicaid. Hospitals are now seeing significantly more patients in their ERs for non critical medical visits. My brother is in ER for the Mpls Fairview chain and tells me that number has nearly doubled. He said that they knew that was coming...as it happened in Massachusetts when they implemented their program. The other thing that happened is that there is now a dramatic difference in those insured and those that can use their insurance. Besides the dramatic increase in rates...Deductibles, Out of Pocket limits and Copays have skyrocketed...making many hesitant to visit their doctors. So...you've created this odd situation of those that pay for their insurance...but can't use it...and those that don't pay for their insurance..and use it in unnecessary ways. Remember that prior to the ACA, no person could be turned away from hospitals for emergency care regardless of insurance coverage.with no actual provisions for cost reduction. Who repealed the tax on medical equipment and supplies? There were cost reduction measures, all usurped by GOParty over country. Okay...that one almost made me spit out my coffee I laughed so hard. Only a diehard believer could call a tax...a cost reduction measure. The Democrats established an arbitrary tax on medical device manufacturers because they needed their bill to "score" revenue neutral. You really believe that tax was absorbed by the device manufacturers? Of course not...it was charged to the customers resulting in higher costs for medical care.
