Paul Charchian @paulcharchian 1h
He's a pretty good player, but the Vikings deepest position was probably DE. Wonder what this means for Brian Robison.

Jones already has a feel for some of his new co-workers after years of group text messages with former UCLA teammates Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks. The two Vikings linebackers gave Jones a preview before he arrived in Minnesota on Monday night.
“We’re nonstop texting every day and talking every day,” Jones said. “Right before I came out on the visit, they got word. Instantly they were like, ‘Man, you’re going to really love Coach Patterson, you’re going to really love the culture.’ ”
What???...I thought Brett Ellison's Dad say it was a toxic environment

It had to have been a tough year going out there week after week knowing you are going to get wrecked for nearly the entire season. I'm sure there was a lot of tension and finger pointing, but the reality is that when half your starters on offense go down by week 2 there isn't much you can do.
Our defense finished 3rd in yards given up and 6th in points given up. They were on the field for nearly 2/3 of many games. I think our defense did a great job considering the amount of pressure our ineffective offense put on them.
