This stuff is brought to you by the same frigging party that said not many years ago that we were running out of oil and needed to cut back for the benefit of the planet....blah blah blah. Now the truth is out and they lied. This no different. There will always be the gullible to eat this shit up. If your 55 or so you can remember the Newsweek and US News & World Report articles about the coming ice age @ 1975-1976. A few years later a 180 deg. course change. Now we're to hot. Sea levels will take over our shorelines by 2010. So what the hell happened??? Folks on the right are ridiculed by the left. But where are ALL these rising sea levels then. Answer me that?

I am indeed old enough and I remember it well. This is by far and away why the left is always courting the youth of the nation. They haven't been around long enough to remember all the past deceit. Put them together with the permanently ignorant and you can muster up quit a few votes.

OK you believe in AWG and the science behind it. There's plenty of other science to point to climate change not being caused by man. You can say these guys cherry pick which makes them untrustworthy, but then I could say the hacked emails from some years back show that Mann and his buddies were fudging numbers to make their assumptions seem true. You can see multiple reports of pro AWG scientists who have cherry picked their own sources of data, like where and how they measure water temps.
The earth has gone through climate change before well before the fossil fuel was burned. Meanwhile, we're told that this time we are the cause. Now how are we supposed to believe that when every apocalyptic prediction these scientists have said was going to happen by now hasn't?
I don't think you'll find people disagreeing on the notion of being smart and keeping the environment clean. The disagreement you'll see from people like me is going to be over giving up our way of life, our liberties, property rights, paying more for basic needs etc all over a theory who's backers have been shown to have an agenda. I'm not ready to give things up just because one side was successful at silencing the dissent.
Environmentalism is a back door way for our country to go completely socialist where all the elites will enjoy access to things we currently enjoy. Through this cause, the gov can control every aspect of your life. Think I'm a nut or the gov would never use this as a way to control? Go buy a new toilet or washer machine and tell me how good they are compared to those 20 years ago.....
BTW I'm not accusing you personally of being some crazy environmentalist who has some agenda. Yes the earth has gone through climate change in the past. During recorded time has there been one giant asteroid hit or a super massive volcano eruption which could have caused this? Is it totally inconceivable that a slow steady rise could not be the result of slower process like the one being described. Look I don't expect you to change your mind. You won't change mine about wanting to live in now and leave my grandson a cleaner world. He and the next after be the ones screwed if they are right. I'll be dead. There has been more than one super volcano and a few super caldera's through out history. So you like science? I do to but I am kinda dumb. Here is a scientist, you should listen to what he has to say.
There is other factors that are a greater factors that are a danger to my Granddaughter than global warming (which is natural and man plays no part) and they
are definitely made by man.

And another one..... there are many many more. and to tell you the truth, I didn't need any of them to know it is all bullshit.
Show me WW2 in the science ?? The world WAS on fire, how much tonnage of oil and else was dumped into the environment.
Oh and the mention of DDT in this.... Oh my God, (another subject of the bullshit)

This is the straw man argument and false narrative-We all want less pollution and a cleaner world but it has to be reasonable and effective. Global warming politics isn't about pollution and litter it's about control. When CO2 is classified as a pollutant but is required for life to exist on this planet common sense has gone out the window. The minute the politicians started investing in carbon offsets alarm bells should have went off in your head. The key question-I'm sure covered in one of the many videos in the thread- is what is the correct single global temperature we need to attain for this 'ideal'? We are talking fractions of degrees for some random average across the globe and with very little accounting for other affect like urbanization around recording stations. The historical records aren't accurate enough to start talking fractions of degrees and we can't even identify the correct target. When the global warming conferences all the rich connected people attend start taking place by teleconference you might peak my interest. Jetting off to Davos to come up with ways to tell me to stop respirating so much CO2 or ways to minimize cow flatulence is height of hypocrisy/ignorance/corruption.

If it involves our lives and our future they should let us know what's going on. Should then the big money behind debunking the science or findings whatever you choose to call them also be so open. I don't think the fosil fuel company boards would allow cameras in their board room while they formulated their response. Who you think is putting the money behind the debunking efforts? No more then Philip Morris did when they fought for years to debunk they were killing people. Yep there's plenty of hypocrisy to go around in the world. Rule of thumb for me to flag this stuff is emotional selling. I also believe companies like Philip Morris, while keeping the bottom line in mind have shifted their thinking a bit. I'm not saying they don't need some legal encouragement but it's not as dark as it used to be. Another thing Trump did recently that you might like was sign a bill to help clean up the oceans. This was a great concept in that the results will be known and measurable. The cost will be justified. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the bill because it received so little coverage.

Shit, we are all dead since this one predicted dead by 2000! Are we all just zombies now? I'm not even sure how we can be causing global warming since we all either froze or starved to death back in the 70s predicted ice age/famine....
"Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind." — Harvard biologist George Wald
"Population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years." — Stanford University biologist Paul Ehrlich
"Demographers agree almost unanimously on the following grim timetable: by 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions…. By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine." — North Texas State University professor Peter Gunter
"The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age." — Kenneth Watt
