I glad you acknowledge Cruz admitted it was probably wrong. That's why he was gone less than 24 hrs. Still not sure what a senator who is a lawyer was going to do in that 24 hrs. Use his wife's hair dryer to deice windmills, scrap ice off solar panels? Is there a magic button to push to turn the power back on that only Cruz knows about? I didn't say shit about Cruz admitting anything. But, yes that is all it is about. Cruz doesn't know shit about generators, so nothing to see here. What Cruz does know is let them eat cake. Fuck these poor people and this freezing fucking cold. I'm a gosh darn senator. Let's jet outa this shit and let the poor plebs suffer this third world country bullshit while we have third world country folk bring us drinks while I mentor to my poor children who had to go without power like the rest of the welfare, healthcare wanting scum. Exactly the kind of leader you all worship, dumb as fuck and doesn't give one. So he should have stayed for moral support? Not everyone is a pansy like you and needs their hand held. The media reporting this 24/7 sure keeps the brainwashed from seeing the truth about Cuomo killing old people in NY.

Ted Cruz goes on vacation and they want a resignation. Eric Swalwell sleeps with a spy and....nothing
Ted should just say he went to Cancun to sleep with Eric's spy. All would be forgiven.

“Prices at $9/kWh work out to over $640 per day in energy charges.” #Texas households who get their electricity on variable or indexed pricing plans are likely going to see their electrical bills spike in the wake of the recent cold snap. www.theepochtimes.com/some-texas-households-face-

This is all assuming those figures posted are accurate, which I would dispute as it has been widely reported that renewable energy accounts for less than 15% of Texas power production and you assert that it contributes 35%. Besides all that, you ignore the fact that immediate surrounding states are NOT in the news for power outages. And you also ignore the fact that Texas, in it's never-ending fight for independence, effectively de-coupled itself from the national power grid in the name of independence and deregulation. That independence and deregulation lead to all of this. Oklahoma, Arkansas and all other surrounding states are NOT suffering from the same blackouts NO MATTER their reliance on fossil fuels or renewable energy. You won't address this and you won't admit it. No matter what you say about fossil fuel electrical generation and renewable, no surrounding states suffered as Texas has and it is all due to their pursuit of deregulation and independence. Congratulations. This storm did not only happen in Texas and Texas is not the only state in this that has renewable energy. To blame this on renewables is disingenuous and dishonest. Texas fucked itself and it is on display for all the world to see. I would bet that they all wished that global warming was a little bit more real today. Probably about 30 degrees truer than is has been recently. It was an educated guess. So, how much of Texas power comes from wind turbines? What about natural gas? Wind power has been the fastest-growing source of energy in Texas' power grid. In 2015, wind power generation supplied 11% of Texas' energy grid. Last year it supplied 23% of the system's power, surpassing coal as the second-largest source of energy. But natural gas still leads the way in the state. An ERCOT report on generating capacity listed the top sources of power in the state: Natural gas (51%) Wind (24.8%) Coal (13.4%) Nuclear (4.9%) Solar (3.8%) Hydro, biomass-fired units (1.9% Those above create 38,426,000 MWH So this is what I should have used as a average 50 degree Texas day in Feb., is 922,224,000 Regardless of the actual numbers, my numbers would still shows how green could be down 90% Gas could be up 400%, and still fall short even if the demand only went up 2 times. What's you electric consumption in (Sept, Oct, March, or April) vs Feb No matter your mental gymnastics, both failed. Even if wind and solar failed the entire state of Texas, oil, coal, gas and nuclear power failed to save it. Failure is failure. To hype carbon energy as innocent is disingenuous and dishonest.
