Adding to thread for no reason Most legit companies have gone to stock buy backs in lieu of increased dividends. Same rewards to shareholders with greater tax efficiency. Just sayin.....

Since I like you guys, I'll strongly encourage you to take a deep breath and step away from the (financial) cliff.

Since I like you guys, I'll strongly encourage you to take a deep breath and step away from the (financial) cliff. The Bitcoins I bought for $4600 in March, has me at the people who said I was nuts to buy after it fell from $7900 in just 2 days. I suspect I'll sell them for around 26-27K each. Then I'll take that and buy more around 21-22k. Buy Low Sell High, and buy the F'n dips

Are you kidding me? This makes options look easy!!! NOW I remember why i never bought bitcoin. Thats from before the launch ISO (call it beta testing if you will) Now that its on exchanges 12/17/200 at noon. You simply buy it for 11 cents. Then sell it on12/20/20 at noon for 76 cents. 1k turned in 6.9k in 3 days. Should have trusted my gut and bought 10k worth of it. Lets here about that stock market, or gold and silver investments that takes 10 plus year to accomplish that same return. Saying you didn't buy bitcoin because of coding and algorithms that were needed to get it to market. Is like saying I don't have a smart phone or computer because of all the software and coding they need.

Hey PurpleOne- I've never done crypto (or whatever this is) Please tell me like I'm 5 (or 105) HOW do you buy it? Crypto exchanges, they are on line and open 24/7/365 Created an account, deposit money. Research a coin, find one you believe in. Click that coin on the exchange. Enter how many you want to buy. and at what price you want to pay for them. Click buy. Sit back until it completes the order. With in seconds to days depending how low of an offer you set. Once it buys, decide if you want to hold (HODL) for long term or sell for quick profit. Either way click on the coint set how many you want to sell and at what price. Click sell. Rinse and repeat

Is like saying I don't have a smart phone or computer because of all the software and coding they need. Thanks for the reply and sorry, I didn't communicate that very well. I really meant like a kindergartener and your talking coding and algorithms So..... I went on charles schwabb... couldn't find the ticker name. Tried Reddit... whew. Ended up BACK at youtube... where I was last April. Coinbase... wallets.. keep a spead sheet for cost basis.. 1.5% fee. Oh lordy... then mining? So question is more basic, like, what service / broker do you use to buy it? Do you recommend a wallet and if so, which one? Anyone on youtube you recommend? Not knocking crypto or bitcoin. I opened and started trading stocks just this past April. Options- beginners luck, that ended quickly. Moved to OTC then found out.... TD's broker fees were killing me and worse!!! They labeled me a daytrader! WTH? NO ONE mentioned that lil fact about restrictions in their "learn options in 20 minutes!"

It's secure and FDA insured, so I don't use a wallet per say. You get a wallet on the exchange (this is how you can send or receive) for each type of coin you own. Kinda like paypal friends and family. Some people who are nerves get off line wallets to store their coins. I look at it this way. All my stocks are with the broker. As far as I'm aware I can't store them in my safe. I'll look tomorrow at who has good learner videos. The ones/youtubers I follow now are doing charting and talking about where they think the trend is heading. I'll warn you, I used to pass right by some of their channels because of the way they act and talk (goof balls I tell you). Got to give them credit though, they are realistic and pretty good at charting.

I should add, if anyone is following along and plans on using coinbase. Do not buy or sell coins there. fees are high. This is were you transfer coins you want to stake, or just sit on (HODL) it's free to transfer between the 2 platforms. Use Coinbase Pro for any buys or sells. Once you set up a verified account on coinbase. You use the same login for Pro as base.
