When did that become a thing? I never heard it before? Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Strength of victory. Strength of schedule. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. Best net points in common games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games. Coin toss link Strength of victory. This is the composite win percentage of the opponents a team has beaten over the course of the regular season. Example: By Week 13, Oakland had beaten 10 teams with a combined record of 68-76, giving the Raiders a .472 strength of victory. link

When did that become a thing? I never heard it before? Same as Power points, they have been used in high school sports for ages to seed playoffs.

When did that become a thing? I never heard it before? We are probably the only two that would admit it.... We need another designation, BBR; Boned By Refs. We would be assured major bonus points playing the fudgies twice.

Unless the next time you are playing the packers again.

What is tie-breaker scenario with the Rams?. Do they get the 6th seed if we tie?
Disregard, I was able to figure it out. They hold the tie-breaker against us as well. They are up 21-3 on Seattle tonight. Assuming they win tonight and again next week at Dallas which looks probable at this point, they would take over the 6th seed if we lose at LA next week. We really didn’t do ourselves any favors losing to three NFC teams this year. Many seem to think the playoffs are certain at this point. Nothing is certain, especially when it comes to the Vikings.

The Rams still have to play at the Niners in 2 weeks. If they lose, they will have a 3-3 division record. If we win our 2 home games, we have a 4-2 division record, and even if we lose at L.A. we win the tie-breaker with the Rams. But this is bloody theory. I am sure, 10-6 will not be enough in the NFC WC race this year, and this makes me mad.

Dallas or Philly could win their division at 6-10, right?

Dallas or Philly could win their division at 6-10, right? Yes, and the Vikes could miss the playoffs with a 11-5 record. That’s the pathetic NFL playoff system for you and they refuse to change it.
