They didn’t lose. They settled.
He and Reid got less than ten million between them.
Have you guys read the insurance waiver? Do you know if it wasn’t standard legalese used by the NFL?
Let the idiot try out with any team that wants him. He is not a hero or a martyr. He is a douchebag with backup talent.

A1Janitor , I never seen the actual document. I posted a breakdown before and heard several shows discussing paragraph 2. I doubt they put that wording in a standard waiver contract. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/11/17/inside-the-waiver-proposed-by-the-nfl-to-colin-kaepernick/I don't think he's any hero or martyr. I just think he does have followers and fans both inside the player ranks and outside. This in my opinion was a lame attempt by the league to end this. However obviously it only fired up the debate again. The league is saved by it's popularity because these guys couldn't manage a product that doesn't sell itself.

He's a backup QB at this point. Nobody wants their backup creating controversy or being in limelight or getting pressured to elevate him to starter..not based on skill but based on politics..nobody. But that isn't necessarily true. He is better in some people's eyes than many that are staring now. That's what is driving this. Now if he keeps sabotaging his chances that won't carry any weight and I'm not talking about the tryout because that was a bogus attempt by the NFL. His lawyers are smarter then that. He could have set up a tryout anytime and invited all 32 teams. The NFL threw their weight behind it to get teams to try to attend.
I've said all along...he's a poor man's RG3 in terms of skills...both aging QBs who relied on mobility...one has been out of the game for almost 3 years. RG3 is backing up Lamar Jackson in Baltimore...makes sense...similar albeit lesser skills at this point. RG3 has also reigned in his me first attitude to be a backup....something I don't see Kaep doing. Any team that signs Kaep will get pressured my supporters and the liberal media to start him...regardless of who is best...in football terms. Why would a team really want that sideshow...unless they're desperate?

(But not by the Vikings) The drama will be fun and once and for all we will see he can no longer play football. On the other hand, no amount of evidence will be good enough for some of his acolytes.

The 2nd location he moved it to was an hour away. I don't know how many view Kap as being worth going an hour out of your way for.

Seven teams ended up attending the workout, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Lions, Chiefs, Jets, Eagles, 49ers, Titans and Washington were represented. Lions - Stafford (I know he's injured now, but they have no hope of playoffs, so it's Stafford next year) Chiefs - Mahomes Jets - too soon to give up on Darnold, especially with Gase messing him up Eagles - Wentz on big contract 49ers - Jimmy G on big contract Titans makes sense. Washington - gotta let Haskins roll. If anything, I would have expected the Bears, Panthers, Bucs, Miami, Bengals, Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos to attend.

As long as the Slotters of the world are out there, there is zero need on any team for a scumbag like Kap.

Watch the video. Perfect about Kaep. I don’t know why I watched that video.... it just proves to me that he is still going to be this on field distraction...His view... I am not the cause of the problem... it’s everyone else....

I have agree with I think it was Stephen A. Smith’s take and really don’t think Kap wants to play. Cancelling at the last minute and wearing the Kunta Kinte shirt at the second location this was clearly planned by Kap and his team.
I don’t think the NFL was genuine with their tryout but I have to think if Kap showed up, was humble and respectful, and his talent showed out, he would have had a real shot at renewing his career.
