He's a backup QB at this point. Nobody wants their backup creating controversy or being in limelight or getting pressured to elevate him to starter..not based on skill but based on politics..nobody. But that isn't necessarily true. He is better in some people's eyes than many that are staring now. That's what is driving this. Now if he keeps sabotaging his chances that won't carry any weight and I'm not talking about the tryout because that was a bogus attempt by the NFL. His lawyers are smarter then that.

Seven teams ended up attending the workout, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Lions, Chiefs, Jets, Eagles, 49ers, Titans and Washington were represented.

He’s not better because he cost the NFL millions and that is part of his job as an employee to comply with company wishes. No company will hire a trouble maker who will cost them more than they gain. Its simple economics and he is toxic and proved yesterday was just a publicity stunt when he would not sign the standard waiver all players sign. AB is another one who has talent but is a trouble maker and teams learned the hard way this year on him. They made their beds.

Think of it this way it's no different then a ford chevy argument. His side has supported and the others that don't. He has more than enough support left. Nike proved that with earnings off him. Yeah except the publicity stunt was on the NFL. They tried to make him sign a waiver to cover their butts becuase they have left themselves open to more lawsuits. The teams are separated from the NFL so teams may have a different view then the league office. Each team operates under it's own guidelines some are set by the league that all must follow CBA nflpa etc.. As for the waiver it was a bogus attempt to get their asses covered for future lawsuits and that's why his lawyers said no fn way. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/11/18/standard-tryout-waiver-is-much-more-narrow-than-the-waiver-the-nfl-sent-to-colin-kaepernick/

It doesn’t matter how much he gained them he was paid for his job and accepted his pay. If I earn my company millions I do not get any. But if I lose them millions I am fired. If I am a trouble maker costing them money I am gone in a flash regardless of any good I did for them. I am expected to do my job and help them be successful. If I do my job bad and cost them big money and they keep me, I might cost them the company of it goes tits up.
This guy is toxic and will cost them big money (fans and ratings) and no one wants to be “that” team.

Lol
If you had an ex employee sue before wouldn’t you make sure your legal team has all the dots dotted to have anything to do with this person again? Get serious you don’t think they are gonna cover their butt?
He had that waiver way ahead but made it a last minute crisis because all he wants is press not to play. Did you even read his comments? It was a publicity stunt even Jayz said as much and he was on his side until he pulled this newest one.

It's also a based off a union not a non union work force so you may not have taken that into consideration. He has more backing. Jayz also is wanting ownership and has contracts with the NFL for entertainment. He may also back tra k once all is learned.

He got what he wanted - limited workout to show he still has it (his deep ball looked bad imo). A new shoe coming out - free publicity. He sucks. He is a cancer. The NFL should stop talking to him. He can try out with a team if he wants.

You really going to back Goodell? He ain't done shit right.. Ever....

I don’t care one way or another if any team wants to sign him. How can the NFL be blamed. Name one other player in NFL history where the NFL coordinated a private workout 11 weeks in the season for a former player? Most guys in his position go and sign a deal with incentives. This is a shit show if his making.

Another they set up a fake tryout to make it look legit with a waiver no lawyer would let their client sign.

A week 11 tryout with little advanced notice and a very wordy waiver already written ready to be signed. Goodell and his think tank were giggling how smart they are but looked like deer in the headlights when nobody was dumb enough to fall for it. Well maybe not nobody.
