Well, I'll be busy picking up dog crap in my back yard on Saturday -
Wow! I guess I'll have something in common with NFL team scouts
on Saturday we're both gonna be looking at a pile of shit!

It's just so the NFL can nail the lid shut. His side asked for a different day or later. I guess he's kept himself in shape maybe. I know most will flip out in anger. This is for them not him. Give him short notice and not even who will be there. Then the league can tell his supporters, yes he does have some. We tried but he just can't make a team. Done and done...maybe.

Why even do it to begin with? It just keeps his sorry ass in limelight.

I believe they want to do it to make sure they have their basis covered. If he goes to the XFL and tears it up... I think that will be a black eye to the NFL. Now, the NFL can finger point and say they did their job and it is all the owners.

Now, the NFL can finger point and say they did their job and it is all the owners. It's just as much about the owners as the league. More maybe. As I said, set-up. Out of the blue they give a 32 year old a pro day? They give him no notice or will even share who will be there. They want him to look bad. Even if he is in shape and looks good enough to have one of the 64+ spots in the NFL they will say he didn't do well in the "private" interviews. His supporters won't buy it and as I said before, yes he has plenty of them, they won't be here that's for sure. His enemies will say see he's just not good enough. That's what we'll hear. This is just the latest super piss poor PR mismanagement by the league full of piss poor PR. Can't get wife or children beater cases right. They flip out over pot but hand out 2 games for violence??? This is what you get from a bunch of old rich out of touch with real world issues men. A league where working folks can't afford tickets and them tripping all over themselves trying to play we are smarter then them. Trying hard to grab all that TV ad $$$ they can by playing both sides. In the end only further separating ALL their real consumers from their product.

The lid was nailed shut the moment he agreed to a settlement.

If true angryguy77 , If the settlement truly did nail it shut. Then as plundering said. Why even do it in the 1st place? Isn't that a great question. I'll give my answer. One won't be popular with many here. His supporters are still making noise why is he being blackballed??? So owners are taking cover behind the league. The league is trying hard to make it about Kap. Even though they instigated this whole PR stunt. It's greed my friends. They want your money and his supporters too. This is a transparent, though lame attempt to win-win. It will fail - fail. Even the owners are pretending. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/11/13/nfl-teams-confused-by-leagues-scheduling-of-colin-kaepernick-workout/

All this is going to do is annoy both sides. No one is going to be happy at the results.

No one signs him and he screams "See? I told ya! Collusion!"
The NFL responds, "So what? We already paid you for that. GFY."

They were saying on NFL Radio yesterday....there are teams out there that will sign him for NFL minimum, but will he sign for that.. my opinion.....how bad does he want to play...or is pride going to stop him?..I would play for NFL Minimum, but it would probably take me 60 seconds to do the 40 at a dead run...
